Xi 'an Xd Digital Technology Co., LTD. (XD Digital Technology, formerly known as Xi 'an Duanyi Technology Co., LTD.) is a subsidiary of China XD Group, specializing in smart power grid control protection and digital industrial control technology research, basic software and hardware platform and complete equipment development and engineering application. Xd Digital Technology firmly pursues to build its own technology, products and services into a leading brand at home and abroad, and will make full use of the Internet of Things, distributed control, big data and other latest technologies to bring the latest generation of control and protection products to the market, complete matching with the parent company's advanced power primary equipment, to meet the needs of domestic and foreign markets for advanced electrical equipment.

From the 1980s to now, the Western Power Digital technology research and development team has participated in the introduction of DC transmission technology and the localization of equipment in our country, as well as the whole process of autonomous project construction. It has led the introduction of high-end control platform technology of Siemens and ABB for many times. On this basis, it has adhered to independent innovation and research of core technology, and has developed four generations of embedded high-end control system platforms with fully independent property rights. Complete sets of control and protection system developed for converter station have been successfully applied in more than 30 ultra-high voltage and UHVDC transmission projects in our country, and has made a major contribution to power grid construction, winning many awards, such as the First China Industry Award, National Grand Prize for Science and Technology Progress, and first prize.

A series of control and protection systems of FACTS devices developed by XD Digital Technology, such as medium-low voltage MMC converter, static reactive power generator SVG, energy storage controller PCS, DC transformer/energy router, and power loop closing device, are leading in technology and have been widely applied in new energy and smart grid construction markets. The development of flexible HVDC transmission and low-frequency transmission control and protection systems for offshore wind power will further provide strong technical support for the development of green energy.
